PTAC, mini-split, radiator, central AC and furnace repair for Bronx apartments, co-ops and houses, with a written quote first. Our technicians handle ptac & through-wall units, radiators & in-unit heat, mini-split repair and house furnaces & central air. A technician diagnoses the problem on site and gives a written quote before any approved work begins.
Why Gotham Home Services
Gotham Home Services repairs PTAC and through-wall units, ductless mini-splits, in-unit radiators, central air conditioning, furnaces and heat pumps in the Bronx. Call dispatch at (516) 348-5145 for apartments, co-ops, attached houses and detached homes. Many Bronx repairs happen inside one apartment of a larger building, while houses in the east and north Bronx usually have their own central systems. A technician diagnoses the fault, explains it and quotes in writing before work begins. Gotham Home Services Inc. holds NYC home improvement contractor license 2132513-DCWP. Pricing is quote on request.

What we handle
The Bronx has two very different kinds of repair call. Prewar apartment buildings along the Grand Concourse and in Fordham, Kingsbridge and Mott Haven were built for steam radiators, so in-unit work is usually a cold radiator, a stuck valve, or a PTAC or mini-split added later for cooling. Co-ops and houses in Riverdale, Throgs Neck, Pelham Bay and Country Club are more often on furnaces, central air or split systems with equipment in a basement or beside the house.
We start by finding out which system serves your space and whether the fault is in your unit or in the building's own heating plant, then quote the repair in writing.
Work is limited to residential, light-commercial and PTAC equipment we repair ourselves, plus unit-level radiators and valves. Building boiler rooms and central plant equipment are not part of our scope.
No cooling, no heat, leaks and tripped breakers in Bronx apartment buildings.
Cold radiators, stuck valves and failed vents inside the apartment.
Error codes, dripping heads and weak heating or cooling on ductless systems.
No-heat, no-cool and short-cycling calls in Riverdale, Throgs Neck and Pelham Bay homes.
Local service guidance
If you rent and the whole building has no heat, central heat is the owner's responsibility during NYC heat season, October 1 through May 31. Tell the landlord in writing and report it to 311. If only your apartment is cold, check whether the radiator valve is fully open and whether the air vent hisses when the heat comes up; those are unit-level problems we can diagnose.
In a house, check the thermostat mode and batteries, the breaker and the filter first. A clogged filter can shut down a furnace or freeze an air conditioner's coil.
