Radiator service — Long Island
Why Gotham Home Services
Radiator service on Long Island covers older homes and apartments with cast-iron radiators: cold or partly heated units, failed air vents, seized and leaking valves, knocking pipes and radiator replacement. Gotham Home Services Inc. is based in Roosevelt, NY, holds New York City home improvement contractor license 2132513-DCWP and answers at (516) 348-5145. Each radiator, valve, vent and connection is inspected before parts are recommended, and rooms that never heat properly are often better solved with a ductless head instead. Pricing is quote on request after inspection. Work is limited to unit-level components; boiler rooms and central plant are not part of our scope.
Radiator service for older Long Island homes and apartments: cold radiators, valves, vents, knocking pipes and replacement.

What we handle
Plenty of older Nassau and western Suffolk homes still have cast-iron radiators in part of the house, often alongside later additions with no radiators at all. The common complaints are the same: one cold room, a valve that will not close, and pipes that knock at start-up.
Because we are based in Roosevelt, site visits are straightforward. We check the radiators room by room, and where a space simply cannot be heated properly we will say when a ductless head is the more sensible fix.
Work is limited to unit-level radiator and heating components inside the apartment or home; building boiler rooms and central plant equipment are not part of our scope.
Vent, valve, pitch and trapped-air checks room by room.
Seized, painted or leaking parts tested and replaced.
Unit-level pitch and condensate causes corrected.
Removal and replacement inside the unit, scope documented.

Common questions
Yes, alongside Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Call (516) 348-5145 with the address and dispatch will confirm scheduling.
A ductless mini-split head is the usual answer, because it heats and cools the room without extending the existing piping.
Sometimes. Where the valve body or stem is worn through, replacement is the reliable fix, and we explain which applies before work starts.
No. Our heating work is unit-level radiators, valves and vents, plus furnaces, ductless systems and heat pumps.
